By placing these vibrant and informative banners around the Grove with not only images and text, but interactive QR codes to hear audio and watch videos, people are able to interact with our community’s history on a whole new level.
For various events through the season, we work with artists to showcase their work for all residents and visitors to enjoy any time of day.
With a Art Walking Tour map in hand (either printed or digital), viewers can be guided around our gorgeous community by stunning photographic presentations of artists.
The interactive audio provides insight into the featured artists and the Grove's history.
We present the Art Walks at no expense to the artists.
If you're an artist and would like to find out how your work might become featured on the Artist Walking Tour, please email parkerMsargent@gmail.com.
Partnered with Fire Island Artist Residency (FIAR) we are once again bringing the work of trans+ artists to Cherry Grove with a walking tour of stunning images and information about the creators.
Each artist is offered a 4x5 foot canvas to present a digital copy of their piece (or collection of pieces) that fit within those dimensions.
The images are printed on vinyl banners, so they endure the outdoor elements, at no expense to the artists.
Artist profile and social media links accompany the piece.
If you are a transgender artist or feature the trans+ community in your work, we invite you to join the TCW Art Walk 2026.
