Let's come together to celebrate our transgender community!!!

With so many social and legislative issues targeting the transgender community, our goal is to create an event that celebrates trans and non-binary folks (and our allies) with a weekend of events in a historically queer destination.
TCW directors and organizers are working to create a calendar of events that is entertaining and education. Three days of activities, parties and resources in the gorgeous beach hamlet of Cherry Grove, Fire Island.
Imagine being surrounded by your queer family, with movies, tea dances, nature walks, spiritual gatherings and fabulous parties. All in a destination that is home to some of the most gorgeous beaches, breathtaking nature walks, the oldest running LGBTQ+ theater in the United States and an exciting nightlife with legendary hotspots like the Ice Palace (home of disco) and Cherrys on the Bay.
We encourage group participation and can help facilitate your trip with guidance and discounts for travel and housing.
Join us and our special guests in a range of activities from touring the Sunken Forest to a film festival showcasing trans+ projects, or simply relax on the beach being surrounded by an affirming community that supports you.
Cherry Grove has been a proud queer community since the early 1900’s and is eager to host a TRANS CELEBRATION WEEKEND to provide a safe(r) space to amplify trans voices.
Working with the Cherry Grove Community Association, The Ice Palace, The Belvedere Guest House, Cherrys on the Bay and others, the town will be a unified haven for trans expression and celebration.
We hope to see you there!
