4PM: BOOK READING- BOTTOM FOR GOD

Author Barb Morrison joins us to read from their memoir "Bottoming for God"- a story about gender euphoria, sobriety, old skool NYC, true love, past lives and coming home- and we will discuss their unique experience of traveling the United States as a trans person over the last year on their book tour.
6PM: TRANS PRIDE FLAG RAISING
Location: Cherry Grove Dock
We are overjoyed to bring trans+ pride to the flagpoles on the Grove dock, with a ceremony to raise a (massive) Trans Pride Flag, which was created by a transgender woman named Monica Helms in 1999.

Come mix and mingle with other trans filmmakers, actors and film creatives at this New York Trans Film Festival kickoff event. This event will be co-hosted by Trans Film Collective and Baby Teeth Film Festival, two Brooklyn-based trans film organizations that work to build community and uplift the work of trans filmmakers and trans film actors!

ALL WEEKEND: TCW ART WALK
Location: CG Walking Tour
We teamed up with FIAR (Fire Island Artist Residency) to create the TCW ART WALK, which allowed attendees to take a tour of the Grove and check out installations of photo-based artists exhibited throughout town the entire weekend.
