Author Barb Morrison joins us to read from their memoir "Bottoming for God"- a story about gender euphoria, sobriety, old skool NYC, true love, past lives and coming home- and we will discuss their unique experience of traveling the United States as a trans person over the last year on their book tour.
6PM: TRANS PRIDE FLAG RAISING

We are overjoyed to bring trans+ pride to the flagpoles on the Grove dock, with a ceremony to raise a (massive) Trans Pride Flag, which was created by a transgender woman named Monica Helms in 1999.

This is a trans and accessibility forward Tea Dance. The Cherry Grove Community House dance floor and its bathrooms have no stairs for entry and wide doorways for those who use mobility devices such as chairs, canes, and jazzys. Masks will be required and provided in indoor space.
