We are overjoyed to bring trans+ pride to the flagpoles on the Grove dock, with a ceremony to raise a (massive) Trans Pride Flag, which was originally designed by a transgender woman named Monica Helms in 1999.

The new Trans Flag will flag with our existing three flags: the Progressive Pride Flag, The American Flag and the traditional Gilbert Baker Pride flag.

Thanks to the assistance of the Cherry Grove Community Association (CGCAI) we were able to arrange this special event, to have the transgender pride flag flying all weekend, and because of their help we were able to fundraise the $2000 needed for this official large majestic flag.
